About

Alton Fashion Futures CIC is a Community Interest Company powered by Sawrap, dedicated to empowering young people through fashion.

We support young people who face challenges such as educational exclusion, unemployment, or barriers to opportunity by offering creative workshops in fashion design, sewing, and pattern making.

Through hands-on learning, we help participants build practical skills, confidence, and belief in their abilities — supporting brighter futures and new pathways into education and employment.

How We Create Impact

As a Community Interest Company, we:

  • Deliver creative fashion workshops that build real technical skills

  • Develop confidence and employability

  • Provide real-world work experience opportunities

  • Support progression into the fashion industry

We use fashion as a tool for empowerment and social change — creating brighter futures, one stitch at a time.

Our Connection with Sawrap

Sawrap is a sustainable, bespoke fashion brand specialising in custom linen clothing, handcrafted in London.

Our partnership creates a bridge between high-quality fashion craftsmanship and community empowerment:

  • Sawrap supports the CIC’s community work

  • Workshops are inspired by real industry techniques

  • Participants gain insight into a working fashion business

  • Progression opportunities include mentorship and work experience

Together, we believe fashion can be both creative and transformative.
